On November 1, Sterling turned 8.  He's so proud. 

He got a B+ in reading  this term. He did so poorly in 2nd grade that I promised him a bucket of ice cream if he got up to grade level in reading. Wow--he did it, and even surpassed the goal. So, since he's allergic to milk we got him Daquari Ice Sherbet. He's tired of it now, but it was a great motivator.

Tonight we started reading the Bible onto mp3 files, for the kids and their kids.
